Abstract

As a result of 6-methoxy-4,9-dihydro-3H-β-carboline [4+2] addition to o-quinone methides, formed from Mannich bases of the naphthalene and indole series, 1,3-oxazinopyrido[3,4-b]indoles have been synthesized.
