Abstract

This review covers studies on the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds using multicomponent reactions in aqueous emulsions and suspensions, as well as on the surface of natural clays and silica gel. A comparative analysis was carried out of the efficiency of this approach for obtaining various classes of heterocyclic compounds. Mechanisms for increasing the rate of multicomponent reactions were also examined.
