Abstract

Macroacyclic heteroatomic podands containing one chelation cavity were obtained as a result of the biscondensation of diethyl 2-[(2-aminophenyl)aminomethylidene]malonate with heterocyclic dialdehydes (2,5-thiophenedicarbaldehyde and 2,6-pyridinedicarbaldehyde).
