Abstract

Quantum-chemical investigations of the electronic structure and reactivity of five- and six-membered heteroaromatic compounds conducted at the N. D. Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry, Russian Academy of Sciences, from the seventies of the twentieth century are reviewed and discussed.
