Abstract

Consecutive reactions of 2-aryl-4-(dichloromethylidene)-1,3-oxazol-5(4H)-ones with methyl 2-isocyanoacetate and then with pyrrolidine, piperidine, or morpholine led to previously unknown derivatives of methyl 5-amino-4,5'-bi-1,3-oxazole-4'-carboxylate.
