Abstract

Current microreview includes synthetic approaches for the preparation of 4,5-dihydro-1,4-benzothiazepin-3(2H)-ones from various starting materials: 2-(aminomethyl)benzenethiol derivatives, 2-halobenzylamine derivatives, and 2-halocarbaldehydes.
