SYNTHESIS OF 1H-PYRROL-2(5H)-ONES (MICROREVIEW)

Abstract

This microreview provides some selected examples on the synthesis of 1H-pyrrol-2(5H)-ones including Pd-catalyzed, isocyanide-based and furan-based reactions, ring-closing metathesis of dieneamides, chiral syntheses,
intramolecular cyclizations of N-(cyanomethyl)amides, and multicomponent reactions. Microreview covers literature from 2008 to 2017.
