Abstract

2-Methyl-2,3-dihydroimidazo[2,1-b][1,3]thiazol-5(6H)-one reacts with primary and secondary amines with cleavage of the imidazolone ring and formation of 2-[(4,5-dihydrothiazol-2-yl)amino]acetamides.
