

NEW METHODOLOGY FOR ONE-POT С–H FUNCTIONALIZATION OF PYRIDINES WITHOUT THE USE OF TRANSITION METAL CATALYSTS (MICROREVIEW)

Abstract
This microreview is devoted to one-pot methodology for C–H
functionalization of pyridines, which involve their preliminary N-activation
through the formation of pyridinium salts (or coordination of electrophilic species
with the nitrogen atom), followed by С-functionalization in the ring. Publications
from the years 2013–2018 are considered.
