Abstract

A summary of the most recent applications of malonyl peroxides as reagents in organic synthesis is discussed. The microreview covers the latest selected examples on the usage of malonyl peroxides: dioxygenation and oxyamination of alkenes; oxidative C–O coupling with arenes, enol ethers, 1,3-dicarbonyl and N-heterocyclic
compounds; sulfoxide synthesis.
