Abstract

This minireview discusses methods for the synthesis of the immunostimulant plerixafor (Mozobil®, AMD3100). The information presented covers the period from the publication of the first work devoted to the synthesis of plerixafor and the study of the electrochemical properties of its dinickel(II) and dicopper(II) complexes in 1987 to the present.
