Abstract

Dibenzo-4,12-dithio-8-azacrownophanes containing γ-arylpyridine subunit and thiocrown fragment were synthesized in one step from 1,5-bis(2-acetylphenylsulfanyl)-3-oxapentane, aryl aldehydes, and ammonium acetate.
