Abstract

This microreview is devoted to the arylindazole C–H functionalization
methodologies. The latest selected examples covering 2016–2020 period on the synthesis of indazolo[2,3-a]quinolines and other heterocycles by transition metal catalyzed C–H activation reactions are summarized.
In particular, novel transition metal catalytic systems and differently functionalized synthons utilized for the synthesis indazolo[2,3-a]quinolines are mainly discussed in this review.
