UNEXPECTED ANRORC REARRANGEMENT IN PYRAN RING

Abstract


During a synthesis of pyranylidene-substituted malonaldehyde, the main reaction product was a ketoaldehyde that was generated by further ANRORC rearrangement of the formed malonaldehyde in the presence of sodium hydroxide.
