

RECENT ADVANCES IN THE APPLICATION OF MEERWEIN ARYLATION FOR THE SYNTHESIS OF COMPLEX HETEROCYCLES AT THE IVAN FRANKO NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF LVIV

Abstract
This brief review presents recent advances at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in the application of Meerwein arylation for the synthesis of complex compounds including following heterocycles – 2-aminothiazoles, 2-aminoselenazoles, 3,4-dihydroisocoumarines, 3-hydroxythiophenes, dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-ones, 3-arylpyran-2-ones, and heterocyclic systems such as pyrazolo[4,3-e]thiazolo[3,2-a]pyrimidine, 4,5-dihydro[1,2,3]triazolo-
[1,5-a]pyrazin-6(7H)-ones, thienopyridinediones, 4H-thieno[2,3-c]chromen-4-one, hexahydro-4H-furo[2,3-f]isoindoles.
