Abstract

Our review concerns the classical heterocyclic name reactions of pyrrole derivatives that were discovered in late 19th and early 20th centuries, and undeservedly mostly forgotten since then. The broad synthetic potential of these reactions is now accessible due to recent advancements in the field of organic chemistry.
