Abstract

Treatment of 4-methyl-5-phenyl-3H-1,2-dithiol-3-thione with dicarbomethoxyacetylene gave 2,3,4′,5′-tetracarbomethoxy-5-methyl-6-phenylthiopyran-4-spiro-2′-(1,3-dithiole) whose structure was proved by X-ray investigation.
