Abstract

he  respective hydroxypropyl phenyl ethers were obtained by the reaction of 5,5-dimethylhydantoin, morpholine, benzotriazole, benzimidazole, pyrrolidone, and phthalimide with phenyl glycidyl ether. 8-(2-Hydroxy-3-phenoxy) quinoline was synthesized by O-alkylation.
