Abstract

A  simple  method is proposed for preparing 1-hydroxy-3-oxo-5,6-dihydro-3H-pyrrolo[3,2,1-ij]-quinoline-2-carboxylic acid alkylamides. For the case of the secondary butylamide features of the steric structure of the synthesized compounds  is  discussed. The results of a study of their anti-inflammatory and diuretic activities are presented.
