Abstract

A new series of substituted 1,2,4-triazoles were synthesized from the cycloaddition reaction of alkanal and cycloalkanal hydrazones containing electron-withdrawing groups (MeCO, PhCO, and MeOCO) with appropriate hydrazonoyl halides.
