Abstract

Bis- and tetrakis(ω-dimethylamino)-substituted cross-conjugated polyene α-diketones, containing two thiophene rings, were synthesized from  α-diketones of the thiophene series and  β-dimethylamino-acrolein aminals and also 2-aza-3-dimethylaminoacrolein acetal.
