Abstract

This microreview discusses the recent studies (last 10 years) on the synthesis of imidazo[2,1-b]thiazol-5amines using the Groebke–Blackburn–Bienaymé multicomponent reaction between 2-aminothiazoles, isocyanides, and aldehydes under different reaction and catalytic conditions.
