Abstract

A method for the synthesis of aryl-substituted dihydroimidazo[1,2-a]pyridin-3(2H)-ones from 3-allyl-2-carbonylbenzylidene imidazolones by irradiation with 365-nm LED light without the use of catalysts or any other reagents was developed.
