Abstract

Reaction of 2-carbomethoxy-ω-nitroacetophenone with arylmethylenemalononitriles gives the previously unknown 2-amino-4-aryl-5-nitro-6-(2-carbomethoxyphenyl)-4H-pyran-3-carbonitriles.
