Abstract

Two monobactam derivatives, potassium 4α-methyl-(ЗE)-[(thien-2- уl)methylene]-2-аzеtidinonе-1-sulfоnаtе and its  (ЗZ)-isomer, were prepared and evaluated for their β-lactamase inhibitory activities. These compounds were devoid of β-lactаmase inhibitory activity.
