Abstract

Original method has been developed for the preparation of previously unknown cyclic organosilicon esters of salicylic acid, containing halogen–silicon bonds. This method is based on the reaction of trimethylsilyl ester of 2-(trimethylsiloxy)benzoic acid with organylhalosilanes RR1SiXY under mild conditions, where R, R1 = Cl, Me, CH=CH2, Ph; X, Y = Cl, F.
