Abstract

We have studied the stereochemistry of hydrocyannation of 3-hydroxy-4-alkyliminopiperidines. We have developed preparative synthesis methods for stereoisomeric 4-alkylamino-3e-hydroxy-1,3a-dimethyl-6e-(4-chlorophenyl)piperidines.
