Abstract

Hydrazides of 2-substituted 5-phenylthiazolecarboxylic acids under the influence of nitrous acid are converted into N,N'-bis(2-substituted-5-phenyl)thiazolylureas, the structure of which was established by mass spectral studies, as well as by IR and PMR spectra.
