Abstract

The reaction of bromomethyt(1-adamantyl)ketone with urea, thiourea, ammonium formate, and thiosemicarbazide gave a series of new imidazolin-2-ones, imidazolin-2-thiones and 2-aminothiazoles in the adamantane series.
