Abstract

Some new thiosemicarbazones have been synthesized by condensation reaction of substituted 1-phenacyl-1,2,4-triazoles and -benzotriazoles  with thiosemicarbazide, which underwent a cyclization with acetic anhydride to give a series of substituted thiadiazoline derivatives in good yields. Their structures were confirmed by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR, and MS.
