Abstract

A series of 3-(3-alkyl-5-thioxo-1H-4,5-dihydro-1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)aminocarbonylchromones have been prepared by the oxidation of 3-formylchromone the Jones reagent followed by the reaction with 3-alkyl-4-amino-4,5-dihydro-1,2,4-triazole-5(1H)-thione in the presence of POCl3. The structure of the compounds were confirmed by IR, LC-MS, 1H NMR spectra and elemental analyses.
