Abstract

New tetrathiafulvalenes containing carbazole and 1,3,5-triazine moieties connected to tetrahydrofulvalene cycle through a  S–CH2–CH2–O linker have been synthesized. The electrochemical properties of the final products were investigated by cyclic voltammetry. The optical properties of their solutions were studied by UV-vis absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy.
