Abstract

A series of acetylene derivatives of thiazole using Sonogashira cross-coupling method was synthesized and evaluated in vivo for their anti-inflammatory activity.
Four compounds exhibited a good anti-inflammatory activity and two inhibited soybean
lipoxygenase.
